We are based in a quaint Saxon Devon village on the south coast called Newton Poppleford 3 miles from Sidmouth the Victorian sea side town and beach. In the opposite direction we have the beautiful sea side town of Budleigh Salterton and a few miles on from there is the sea side town of Exmouth.

Situated within the Jurassic coastline area a popular stretch for walking and hikers.

Many wonderfully diverse beaches and coves from pebbles to wide sandy shorelines enables fishing from the beach or deep sea fishing trips for the more adventurous.

Within a half hour drive one can be in Dorset, Somerset and a little further to Exmoor or Dartmoor.

Non- smoking in the house but guests are welcome to use the garden if necessary.

Offering a pickup service for guests without transport for a nominal fee.

We are registered with the T.I.C. of east Devon and hold a certificate from the Royal society of food hygiene. Milestone Cottage is open all year with prior booking.
